We understand that good antenatal education increases coping mechanisms for labour and facilitates a smooth transition to parenthood. We aim to provide you with current and comprehensive information to enable you to make informed choices about the care and services you are offered during your pregnancy and after your baby is born.

As experienced midwives working within the NHS and regulated by the NMC [Nursing and Midwifery council] we are obliged by our professional code of conduct to remain up to date with current research, providing you with the best standard of care possible. Midwives are at the centre of your care throughout your pregnancy and are fully informed of practices within the NHS. Midwives are undoubtedly the most appropriate professionals to facilitate your antenatal education.

Our aims are to promote normality in childbirth, both in the private sector and within our everyday NHS practice,with a view to reducing unnecessary interventions and improving levels of satisfaction for women and their families.

Childbirth can be unpredictable and not all labours go to plan. Good preparation enables women and their partners to understand why intervention may occasionally be necessary.
